A note from our founder.
After working in the hospitality industry and customer service for more than 18 years, I started this company because I wanted to give travelers something better than just a ride. While driving for other private transportation companies, I noticed the same thing over and over. People stepped off long flights tired, jet-lagged, and stressed, and the ride that was supposed to start their vacation usually added to the chaos instead of fixing it.
When we launched (originally as Orlando Majestic Rides, now Majestic Private Transportation), the standard was straightforward. A clean SUV waiting where you actually land, a driver who already knows your name, your favorite music on the satellite radio, and a cold bottle of water once you climb in. The pickup should feel like the first good moment of your vacation, not another puzzle to solve in a strange airport.
That is still how our team works every day, whether we are running a 5 a.m. honeymoon transfer to Port Canaveral or a Friday-night arrival with three exhausted kids heading to a value resort. My goal is for every customer to feel relaxed, welcomed, and a little bit excited the second they step into one of our vehicles.
One trip we still talk about involved a family of six. Their first flight was delayed, they missed their connection, and the next available Orlando flight had only five open seats. The sixth traveler had to take a later flight, and the family's luggage ended up split between the two arrivals.
Our driver was already watching the inbound flight and was at MCO when the first five landed. The kids were well past their limit by that point, so instead of holding everyone at the airport for several more hours waiting on the final family member, the driver loaded the first group into the SUV and took them straight to their resort. They had cold bottled water in the vehicle and a quiet ride to settle the kids down.
Once that group was checked in, the same driver turned around and went back to the airport. They picked up the sixth traveler along with every piece of separated luggage and reunited the family at the hotel that night.
What had started as one of the worst travel days that family had ever had ended with everyone in pajamas, eating room service. That kind of flexibility is hard to get from a rideshare or a shared shuttle, and it is one of the reasons we built the company around one dedicated driver per booking, direct text contact from the time you land, and enough planning room in the schedule to handle the days when nothing goes right.
